画廊位于商场的地面层,全玻璃外墙让它本身就像通道的一部分。为了引导顾客进内流连,引入了一系列带有拱门洞的白色墙体,沿着场地短边往互折叠,不断延伸,分隔出朝内朝外的区域。从沿街面走过,可看到内部空间时开时合,不断变化。这一折叠墙体的介入仿佛把走廊延伸进画廊,引领游人进店探索。白色简洁的拱墙不仅带来一个有节奏感的外立面,也让室内空间层次分明,同时更巧妙地为画廊提供了充足的展示面与灵活的空间。虽然就面积而言,折叠拱廊并不大,但大家相信正是这种多样化的社交空间激发鼓励了互动,并持续点缀大家的生活环境。


The gallery is located on the ground floor of the mall, with an all-glass facade that makes it itself a part of the walkway. In order to guide customers to linger inside, a series of white walls with arches and holes are introduced, which fold towards each other along the short side of the site and continue to extend, dividing the area from inside to outside. As you walk along the street, you can see that the interior space is constantly changing, opening and closing. The intervention of this folding wall seems to extend the corridor into the gallery and lead visitors to explore the shop. The simple white arched wall not only provides a rhythmic facade, but also a layered interior space, while subtly providing ample display surfaces and flexible Spaces for the gallery. Although the folding arcade is not large in terms of size, we believe that it is this diverse social space that encourages interaction and continues to adorn our living environment.
